FAAP Global Academic Tracks

How does the program work?

FAAP Global Academic Tracks allow exchange students to build an international academic experience around their areas of interest.

 

Choose from four interdisciplinary tracks in business, communication, fashion or Latin American studies. Some courses are shared across tracks, creating opportunities to learn alongside students from different academic backgrounds and engage with multiple perspectives.

 

Throughout the program, students connect theory, contemporary issues and professional practices before bringing their learning together in an interdisciplinary Final Project.

The program is designed for exchange students seeking an English-taught academic experience in Brazil.
All courses included in the academic tracks are taught in English.
Students who complete six courses and the Final Project earn a total of 30 ECTS.
First, choose one of the four academic tracks. Students in Global Business and Strategy select six of the seven available courses. The other tracks include six defined courses.
The program is based at FAAP in São Paulo. Doing Cross-Cultural Business is offered online, while selected courses in the Latin America track combine on-campus classes with asynchronous activities.
Some courses are cross-listed and bring together students from different tracks. Students should follow the course requirements of their selected track.
Students should confirm the recognition and transfer of ECTS with their home institution before applying.

A campus for creative business and business creativity

The campus of Centro Universitário FAAP is an icon. Famous for its main building whose architectural design was developed by the Frenchman Auguste Perret, one of the most important architects of the first half of the 20th century, based on sketches made by Count Armando Alvares Penteado, the institution’s founder. The building is the only work carried out by Perret in Latin America.

The grandeur of its structure extends to the specific facilities of each undergraduate course. Workshops, studios, laboratories, and cutting-edge equipment, combined with teachers renowned by the market, enhance the academic and professional training of students who pass through there.
