Portuguese as a second language

With 21 years of experience teaching Portuguese to students from around the world, FAAP reinforces its commitment to high-quality instruction and has also become an international certification center for the Portuguese language.

More than an exam, this achievement positions FAAP as a bridge between cultures, helping the world connect with Brazil through the Portuguese language.

The dates for the next Celpe-Bras exam will be announced by the Ministry of Education (MEC) and INEP.

Cultural Activities and Global Buddies Program

Every week, there’s a fun cultural activity to help students connect, explore different traditions and build meaningful relationships.

Global Buddies activities bring Brazilian and international students together through engaging experiences that celebrate culture, language, and interaction.

Jewelry and theater workshops, cooking classes, capoeira, traditional Brazilian dances like samba and forró, conversation circles, and visits to museums and NGOs are just some of the cultural activities offered as part of the Portuguese Program.
