Born in Caracas, 1977 Studied under the mentorship of Axel Hütte in
his masterclass in Photoespaña (2006) and in further photo-trips in
different countries and with Nelson Garrido in his experimental
photography workshop in Caracas, Venezuela (2007). had several solo
and two-person shows: Her group shows include: “9ª Bienal
Internacional de Arte Bolivia SIART” (2016); “America Latina 1960-
2013” Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain, Paris, France and
Museo Amparo, Puebla, Mexico (2013 and 2014); “Biennial of the
Americas: Draft Urbanism”, Denver, Colorado, USA (2013); “9ª
Bienal do Mercosul: Weather permitting”, Porto Alegre, Brasil (2013
“I Bienal Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo ULA 2010”, “Don’t
Trust. Wight Biennial”, UCLA Arts Department, USA (2006). In
2011 she was awarded the Armando Reverón Award to the Young
Artist of the year by the Venezuelan Association of Plastic Artists; in
2010 she was the winner of the Emerging Artist Award granted by the
International Association of Art Critics, Venezuelan Chapter. In 2009
she was the winner of the CIFO Miami grant and was included in the
“Younger than Jesus Artist Directory” compiled by the New Museum
of Nova Iorque and Phaidon Press.
