"Brazil-Belgium: Photographic memories of Belgian Kings when they visited Brazil”

The exhibition gathers about 70 photographs produced by monarchs during trips to Brazilian cities, in different periods of the twentieth century.

The exhibition is divided into two groups. In the first, are the photographic enlargements of documents from the archives of the Royal Palace of Brussels. The second group is about the King Leopold III, who after his abdication in 1951, devoted himself to the sciences, especially anthropology.
