From February 7th to March 17th , 2002 – Mezzanine of Predio 1
The National Geographic Women Photographer exhibition assembles 55 works from 22 international artists. After being exhibited at the News Museum in New York, the exhibition is presented at FAAP, having as partnership the National Geographic Channel Brazil.
The themes of the exhibition are varied, with images that show from African scenes until contortionists from the Cirque du Soleil in Montreal. All the women photographers are witnesses from the beauty of a landscape, the horror of the war, the exotic cultures, the subtility of a gesture, and dramatic or banal scenes of a relationship.
